It is always a good idea to be familiar with the route taken for your driving test in Port Union. We have posted the map below as well written as directions for the route reported by test-takers. This route is one of the most commonly taken for the exam, but it is possible you might have slight variations on the route. Driving instructors and schools are familiar with the routes and will charge you money to take you there. We figured we'd put them up for free here as a public service. Ultimately, the most important thing you need to do is learn how to take a road test regardless of route.

Written Directions
Starting at the test centre:
- Head west on Rylander Blvd toward Carlisle Crescent
- Turn right onto Tideswell Blvd
- Turn right onto Durness Ave
- Head east on Durness Ave toward Shallice Ct
- Turn left onto Durnford Rd
- Turn right onto Sheppard Ave E
- Head southeast on Sheppard Ave E toward Nature Pathway
- Turn right onto Kingston Rd (signs for ON-401 W)
- Turn left onto the ON-2A W ramp
- Continue onto Hwy 2A
- Drive along Hwy 2A
- Take Military Trail to Watson St
- Head south on Watson St toward Thomas Ave
- Turn left onto Old Kingston Rd
- Turn left onto Kingston Rd
- Turn right onto Highland Creek Overpass
- Turn right onto Lawson Rd
- Take the ramp to Hwy 2A
- Continue onto Hwy 2A
- Head northeast on Hwy 2A
- Take the Port Union Road exit
- Turn left onto Port Union Rd (signs for ON-401 W)
- Head northwest on Port Union Rd
- Continue onto Sheppard Ave E (signs for Sheppard Avenue East)
- Turn left onto Durnford Rd
- Head south on Durnford Rd toward Durness Ave
- Turn right onto Rylander Blvd
