It is always a good idea to be familiar with the route taken for your driving test in London. We have posted the map below as well written as directions for the route reported by test-takers. This route is one of the most commonly taken for the exam, but it is possible you might have slight variations on the route. Driving instructors and schools are familiar with the routes and will charge you money to take you there. We figured we'd put them up for free here as a public service. Ultimately, the most important thing you need to do is learn how to take a road test regardless of route.

Written Directions

Starting at the test centre:
  1. Head north
  2. Turn right toward Roxburgh Rd
  3. Turn left onto Roxburgh Rd
  4. Turn right onto Wellington Rd S
  5. Keep left to stay on Wellington Rd S
  6. Turn left onto Exeter Rd
  7. Head west on Exeter Rd toward Sholto Dr
  8. Turn right onto Sholto Dr
  9. Turn right onto Jalna Blvd
  10. Turn right onto Piers Crescent
  11. Head west on Piers Crescent toward Jalna Blvd
  12. Turn right onto Jalna Blvd
  13. Turn left onto Bradley Ave
  14. Head west on Bradley Ave toward Ernest Ave
  15. Turn left onto White Oak Rd
  16. Head south on White Oak Rd toward Exeter Rd
  17. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto Exeter Rd
  18. Head east on Exeter Rd toward Sholto Dr
  19. Turn right onto Wellington Rd S
  20. Turn left onto Roxburgh Rd
  21. Turn right at Wilton Grove Rd
