It
is always a good idea to be familiar with the route taken for your
driving test in Peterborough. We have posted the map below as well written as
directions for the route reported by test-takers. This route is one of
the most commonly taken for the exam, but it is possible you might have
slight variations on the route. Driving instructors and schools are
familiar with the routes and will charge you money to take you there. We
figured we'd put them up for free here as a public service. Ultimately,
the most important thing you need to do is learn how to take a road test regardless of route.

Written Directions
Starting at the test centre:
- Head south on Erskine Ave toward The Queensway
- Turn left to stay on Erskine Ave
- Turn right onto Crawford Dr
- Head west on Crawford Dr toward Robert Rd
- Turn left onto The Parkway
- Take the Ontario 115 S/Ontario 7 W ramp on the left to Toronto
- Merge onto Trans-Canada Hwy/ON-115 S/ON-7
- Take the County road 11/Airport Road exit
- Turn left onto Airport Rd/County Rd 11 (signs for County road 11 S/Airport Road)
- Head south on Airport Rd/County Rd 11
- Take the ON-115 N/ON-7 E ramp to Peterborough/Ottawa
- Merge onto Trans-Canada Hwy/ON-115 N/ON-7
- Take the The Parkway/Sir Sandford Fleming Drive exit
- Head north toward Sir Sandford Fleming Dr
- Turn left onto Sir Sandford Fleming Dr (signs for Sir Sandford Fleming Drive)
- Turn right onto Spillsbury Dr
- Turn right onto Creekwood Dr
- Head west on Creekwood Dr toward Spillsbury Dr
- Turn right onto Spillsbury Dr
- Turn right onto Lansdowne St W
- Head northeast on Lansdowne St W toward The Parkway
- Turn right onto The Parkway
- Turn left onto The Queensway
- Continue onto Erskine Ave
- Destination will be on the left
